Should I ask this guy how he feels about me?

So I used to talk to this guy in November/December we stopped talking but every once in a while have friendly/flirty conversation. I met him through a friend and now me and that girl aren’t friends anymore. I know she told him we aren’t cause I just know. So he hasn’t spoken to me recently. Should I ask him is he not fw me anymore because of her or leave it alone?

I really like him and I think he does/did like me too cause we would be at parties and he would say “oh there’s my baby” or “you’re my lady, this is mine”
