Is it time to wean or wait it out?

My 5 month old is teething hard. Now she has begun to chew, bite and pull on my nipple when I nurse her. It hurts so damn bad. I’m tempted to pump and bottle feed because I just can’t deal with her doing that! Is this a phase due to teething or is it time to start weaning??

My boy only ever bites me when a new tooth is coming through, once it’s through and they are used to it, you don’t feel the teeth, it’s temporary, see if you can ride through the pain. I also un latched him each time so he knew it wasn’t right to bite

We went through a short biting phase when my son first started teething. It ended within a week and I'm glad we stuck it out! At this age, everything is a phase 😉 hang in there!

my son was pulling my nipple but has stopped a few days ago. He is teething also. when he would do it I would sternly say dont do that and sometimes unlatch him also. I kno he cant understand words but they do understand intonation. He has stopped. a few times he cried when I said don't do that. poor baby. He is too sweet but i didnt want him to have a habit of pulling my nipple
