Ultrasound at 5 weeks?

Those of you that got ultrasounds at 5 weeks were you able to see anything? I had a previous mc so they are seeing me earlier this time but I have heard that it will probably be too early. I just really want to get in as early as possible to try to ease some of my worries.

I saw my rainbow baby girl at 5 weeks 5 days. However, she was so itty bitty I was very surprised to have seen something so early. I’m going to say you probably won’t see anything that early. Most women don’t. Congrats and good luck!

This is what we saw at 5w6d. They said it was too early for a heartbeat but that everything looked good. I actually wished they’d have had me come in later because I was so disappointed that was all there was!

All we saw was a yolk sack and gestational sack at 5w3d

At 5w3d all we could see was a tiny black spot that would be where the baby would begin growing. Exactly one week later, however, things had progressed enough that we even got to see & hear the heartbeat. Just try not to let them discourage you if they say something about not seeing anything. The hospital tried that with me twice and even labeled my pregnancy as a threaded miscarriage which sucked.
