I think I’m Bi but I’m not sure

Honestly I don’t know if I am or if I just have a crush on my friend or if I’m freaking desperate due to my life long single status. I dunno I guess I need help figuring it out like I’m not attracted to girls in general but I am to a few. And also is it offensive if I ask my friend who I have a crush on about it as she is pan as I don’t want her to think I’m being mean about it. Lastly how did you guys know? X
