Metformin 500mg with PCOS

I haven’t had my period since the middle of February and recently started 500 mg of metformin on May 2nd. I was wondering how long it took to ovulate or get a period after starting? I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. Has anyone had any luck with metformin when they have a good BMI? Thanks!
