Gum problems, what is this?!

I’m almost 39 weeks preg and have had the occasional sore gums/bleeding, but recently I noticed it was sore while brushing and there was a lot more blood.. now it’s so sore I can’t even brush over the area and I noticed what looks like tiny blisters around my gumline?! I do get cold sores (herpes) inside my nose and occasionally on my upper lip. Is it possible to have an outbreak on your gums, right next to your tooth like that?! I don’t know what else it could be, but it hurts like hell.
