MTV Catfish, Host Accused of Sexual Harassment

No

I saw an article today talking about a former guest on Catfish, Ayissha Morgan, making a couple of YouTube videos accusing the host Nev of sexual harassment. I decided to watch the first video to hear her story and my heart went out to her. As a lesbian I can understand how uncomfortable and scary it is when a man is constantly questioning your sexuality and offering to be your “first” to show you that you do like men and aren’t a lesbian, which is what she is alleging he did, among other vile things. At the end of the video she leaves the story at a cliff hanger and text appears that said: 500 likes for part 2.

That struck me as odd, as she stated in the video that she wasn’t doing this for fame, money, or attention. Simply that she would feel incredibly guilty if another guest were to be treated the same way because she did not speak up. Still, the asking for likes rubbed me the wrong way, admittedly I haven’t watched part two yet and I haven’t dug any deeper into this situation. What do you all make of this? Do you think MTV will seek any other action aside from pulling the show? Am I overthinking the like thing?
