Protein Question
As a vegan of 3 years. I hate the “where do you get your protein from” question. It’s seriously silly but I’m 17 weeks pregnant. My midwife mentioned I need about 80g a day of protein. She knows I’m vegan that’s not the issue. All I care to eat is veggies & fruit this pregnancy. I’m not the biggest fan of protein bars, protein powder, & things like trail mix (don’t care for raw nuts & seeds or dried cranberries/raisins) lol. My husband says I’m being difficult 🤷🏽♀️ obviously fruit smoothies & salads for lunch & dinner aren’t getting me anywhere near 80g of protein. Any suggestions? Midwife also told me I need more healthy fats. All I can think of is avocado 🥑😃. Was there a good go to that’s packed with protein that you had during pregnancy?
