High risk pregnancy

Looking for advise, my doctor mentioned wanting me to cut back on my hours at work. I work full time 9 hour days at a health center, drawing bloodwork every 5 minutes for 3 hours then rooming patients the rest of the day.

My question is, if I cut back my hours will I still get 60% of my full time rate for short term disability? I emailed HR but they said if my doctor decides that we will discuss it at that time. My other option is to go out completely and I know I'll get th 60% but I worry I'll lose my position.

27 weeks now. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
