Questions about losing mucus plug, cervix at growth scan app!!!!

So I'm 29+3 and just had an ultrasound appointment for growth. Everything came back normal and healthy as it should. Only thing is that yesterday morning I had lost what I'm thinking was my mucus plug. Only a small piece and it was snot like but more clumped up and a greenish color. Never experienced that coming out of me before, No blood or anything though. So today I mention it and she does a cervix check. It was a normal 3cm and closed but when she pushed on it it was at a 2.5 and they say that between 2-2.5 can be a concern so they are having me take progesterone suppositories and putting me on pelvic rest (ughhhhh!) until I go back in 2 weeks so they can check my cervix. So my question is has anyone else gone through this? What happened at the 2 week check up? Did you end up having to get induced early at all??
