Babyshower advice?

Is it something family does for you or at least pitches in money? Or something you and your husband do alone? 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk but it’s hard with two families.

My sisters-in-law threw us one for my husband’s family and friends (co-ed). My high school friend threw me one for my family and friends (not co-ed). For both they asked for guest lists and food preferences, but other than that, we just showed up :) it was fabulous!

We threw our own as I wanted to ensure it was co-ed & included all of our friends not just the women.

Usually family or friends host but it really depends.

It really depends.  My first baby shower I did because my friends were too busy (and several pregnant themselves!) to put in the time, and my family could afford it (they are not local), so I paid for, planned, and threw my own.
 
I threw my sisters shower though (and paid for it).  And I would help with a friend’s shower for #2 if they got pregnant again.

Usually family does it but they offer you don’t tell them to if nobody offers and you want one just throw yourself one nothing wrong with that either
