Is birth control making me crazy?

I’ve been on birth control for a couple of months now and I think my mood swings are getting out of hand. Before the pill I would get upset or mad easily, but now I feel it’s at another level. Like I’m always getting annoyed with small things my boyfriend does. Like one time I got upset he wouldn’t close the car door or that he was watching a show without me. Idk if its actually the pill or if I’m just a bitch. If I switch pills will it mess up my cycle? Are there pills that regulate moods as well?
