Hypothyroidism in early pregnancy?

hey ladies...im nervous... I'm 9 weeks today and very high risk because I'm 38, PCOS, FVL and more. i just got a call from my doctor and she said my blood work came back with extremely low thyroid hormones. she said I need an emergency appointment to do more blood work regarding my thyroid. I never had thyroid issues but have all the symptoms and it can be extremely dangerous for the baby in early pregnancy. has anyone experienced hypothyroidism as a result of pregnancy and what happened? is my nugget going to be okay?

I was diagnosed at 10 weeks this pregnancy. they'll just prescribe a pill to take first thing in the morning an hour before eating breakfast. they'll test you at the beginning of each trimester because most people need an increase with each trimester. it's literally that easy

I have hypothyroidism and I found out the same time I found out I was pregnant the first time. My doctor told me as long as they get your levels under control in the first trimester there are no effects to the baby. I have one healthy 14 month old and am currently 25 weeks pregnant.

I’ve been hypo for past 5yrs but had 14yrs or dealing with thyroid issues. I’ve had a healthy pregnancy with my youngest and 12wk pregnant with our 3rd being hypo.. thyroid doesn’t cause any issues unless it isn’t treated. Your doctor will monitor you well with blood test and medication if needed. Honestly don’t worry to much I’ve was hyper with my oldest and he was a healthy baby and hypo with my youngest to no problems with my boys or pregnancies 😊

I had thyroid issues before but not severe. My tsh was always under 6 but right after finding out I was pregnant it skyrocketed to 68 which is very hypo. They've upped my dose twice but it's fine. I take my meds in the evening a few hours after dinner bc they make me hot and I'd rather be hot at night then at work in the morning. They will watch it not to worry.

I had hypothyroidism at like 12 weeks along with high blood pressure. I only got put on blood pressure medicine and I had a healthy baby.
