finally !

after 4 membrane sweeps I finally went into labor. Saturday was my hubbies birthday party(I did arrange it, silly me lol) and it was kind of stressful for me to say the least. I ended up not going to bed Saturday night til probably around 4:30am. Sunday the day started normal an then I noticed my body was clearing itself out, Braxton Hicks started around 11am. I waited and waited and considered napping but they were so frequent I knew a nap wasn't going to happen for me lol.. as they day continued they got a bit more uncomfortable for me, i started thinking at this point.. this is early labor lol.

around 10 Sunday night I was joking about wishing my water would just break and within ten minutes after sitting down for a minute it broke. I bounced on my birthing ball through each uncomfortable contraction, ate some ice cream cake an called the midwife around 11. she came and checked me and I was 5cm dilated. she left to nap lol, about an hour later I called her and she came to our home an checked again, 6cm. labor progressed and by 5am I was pushing. my sweet rainbow baby Arwen was born at 6:15 am on Monday May 21st at 39 weeks weighing 8lbs 5oz. she was born med free and at home in my bedroom (:
