What are some of the reasons that a pregnancy would not occur even during ovulation?

you only have a 33% chance at the very highest to conceive every month is everything is timed perfectly. the odd really aren't in anyone's favor.

In college we were told only 1 out of 3 fertilized eggs implant... that's after getting the timing right for sperm to be at the egg... 
..truely it's a miracle we are even here I swear...

Mine was because I had blocked tubes, simply from tissue from a previous loss. Other reasons is that ovulation isn't actually occurring, only temperature can accurately say if your body released the egg. I personally would get the lh surge on all my opk tests, but not release an egg. The lack of temperature change is what indicated that. Ultrasound by my Dr confirmed it. Other reasons include poor egg health, lining of the uterus not being proper (too thin or too thick), inability of the egg to attach (I was put on baby aspirin 1x a day to prevent that issue), then there's sperm issues too so not just the females have the problem as well.

too many DNC's , abortions, uterine shapes, natural issues with fertilized eggs(chromosome issues) and the chances of concieving are low anyways

Sometimes there can be issues with implantation. The uterus may not be "spongy" enough if you ovulate too early. The uterine lining has to thicken from the action of hormones before it can support the egg. Also, if you ovulate early the egg may not be mature enough. There could also be chromosomal abnormalities in the egg, or structural issues with it. These things are also true for sperm. There could be scarring in the fallopian tubes that prevents the egg from reaching the uterus at all. The sperm might just barely miss the egg physically or due to timing. There's like a bazillion things that can go wrong each cycle, which just shows what an awesome miracle it is when someone does get pregnant
