Mosquito repellent?

I went to my local pharmacy for some mosquito repellent as I'm going to France and Spain until Thursday. I mentioned to the pharmacist that I'm pregnant and she said that no repellent is recommended for pregnant ladies. 
 
Is this true?

I use it alllllllll the time. I live in south Louisiana and the Mosquitos are horrible, so I don't have much of a choice. I buy OFF family care

Talk with your doctor I'm sure he or she will say repellent is a safer alternative to the disease mosquito's carry! Just use in a well ventilated area and you should be fine.

I don't know where you are going in France but I'm French and from Normandie, went few time for vacation in the south of France and there is no Mosquitos in North of France and really a little in south. It is not as crazy as it is in the US! You do not need repellent! And if ever you feel the need, I'm sure you can find some in French pharmacy.

I don't see why you can't use an organic or all natural product. Baby ganics is a great product as well as ecosmart.

Any type of lotion or sprays help. Just something scented or that has a bit of alcohol in it. They don't like the chemicals so they are less likely to attack you!

You're gonna look like a total dork, but you could use the off clip ons. Snap them to your bag or pant pocket . That's what I do and my husband says all I need is glasses with tape holding them together but it worksssss ☺️
