Does he like me ?

I’ve become friends with a guy in my school and I’m confused with his feelings towards me. We became friends do to a situation regarding mutual friends, but recently it’s felt like more then a friendship. It just started with him walking with me, joining my lunch group (seating across from me), helping me in class, and going with me to places when the teacher sent me on trips to various locations on the campus. I however due to not knowing his intentions added him on social media and started causally texting. We have been casually texting for the last week, but today we ended up texting for more then four hours. We talked about various things, but it felt like we’d been friends for ages. I previously went to one of his choir concerts (due to mutual friends in choir) and he walked up to me and we talked for about 5 minutes before he had to leave for the stage. He even looked at me when he was up on stage and smiled. I’ve caught him staring at me and I just want a honest opinion on this situation.
