So today was my son’s first bday party and my MIL shows up speaks to no ones and is a total pain the whole time. She refused to hold my son, her grandson, and just made everyone miserable. At one point she tells Great Grandpa that we won’t speak to her and its ok bc shes going to die soon and we’ll regret it. Then my dad couldn’t even be bothered to remember his grandson’s party. I am done with these people. I try to let them be a part of my sons life even though they’ve always treated me poorly and they pull this crap. My FIL is amazing and my son loves him, so I will continue to let him be a part of my sons life but I’m done with my MIL, and my dad isn’t really apart of our life much anyways.
