Sleeping Arrangments

So I am due sometime the first week of September (impatiently waiting)....and I was going back and forth between a pack and play with the bassinet and changing table combo and a crib. We live in an apartment and so there sadly isnt room for a nursery. I figured the pack and play would be great and we would get more use out of it versus just sticking with a crib and not being able to have much else furniture wise. Has anyone opted for this instead of a crib? How did it end up? TIA
