We are getting close! Let's hear your thoughts!

Hi, fellow August moms! As we all get closer to our due dates I had 2 questions for you all.

1.) What are you currently most excited for?

2.) What are you currently most afraid of?

I'll go first. I'm currently most excited to just meet our little one. I can't wait to see what she looks like and to see her personality and get to know her and bond with her. I just want to meet her and know her so badly!

I'm currently most afraid of stillbirth. I try not to dwell on negative ideas and possibilities, but I think the fear is somewhat natural. There's this person inside of you that you love and want to protect, but there are so many elements that are still out of your control. It doesn't help that I always see posts on here about women losing their precious babies this late in the game, and it's terrifying. At this point I don't care about labor, tearing, recovering, or anything else. I just want my baby to grow to full term and be born strong and healthy.
