Social media has allowed me to connect with so many people, get educated about other cultures, find support and advice with other moms who have kids with T21, it also helped me to realize one of my sons was seizing, etc. Pros outweigh the cons for me.

Social media in general collects your data and sells it to marketers, campaign managers and whoever else has a large enough wallet. If you are getting something for free, YOU are the product.

There are cons with any kind of technology — but the pros/benefits outweighs any of the bad for me. I wouldn’t have been able to find my biological family if there wasn’t social media.

Like everyone else said, pros and cons. I think it’s wonderful for connecting with family and friends. It’s also a great tool for people in marketing. As like with anything else, it can be abused though.
