cutting pacifiers?
Has anyone else tried the cutting pacifier trick to get away from them? if so how did it work out and how did you go about it? I've read very good things about it.
**update** decided to give it a try after nap and he picked it up sucked it for a minute took it out threw it to the ground and ran off playing 😲 he's picked it up a few times to suck for a minute but hasn't kept it in long. He looks at me suspicious but I play it off like I don't know what's up and he continues on. Hopefully bed time is easy!!
**day after update** Pretty restless in the beginning last night but nothing that required me to come in and sooth. He still uses it but not as much, now when he sees it he is able to walk past it. I feel like I'm constantly checking the binky for any sign of lose piece. So far I already see a major difference, it's not constantly in his mouth and when I take it out he don't fight back for it. Currently only a tiny hole, just enough to take the suction away. in a few days I plan to cut a slightly bigger hole.
