Bf got sent home from ER

This morning my boyfriend woke up with a puffy face and his skin all red and hot.

He’s been taking two different antibiotics for an infection he had called MRSA.

Last night he took them like usual (it would be his 6th night- he’s suppose to take them for 10 days), except last night he drank a glass of OJ before he took his pills. Which he hasn’t done while taking them.

The puffiness of his face went down after 10 minutes in the morning then we went to the E.R.

The nurse there just told him to stop taking the antibiotics and sent him home with a prescription for steroids and told him to take Benadryl too.

I feel like they should have done more.. I had an allergic reaction once and they hooked me up right away on an IV.

Does it make sense for him to be sent home? He even had high blood pressure which isn’t normal for him.

Also he didn’t get looked at by a doctor.

I guess one of the nurses mentioned that he should be hooked up and observed but the other nurse said it wasn’t necessary.
