Heart rate while running

Lisa
Hi and happy 4th of July!
I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy so I'm a little paranoid and extra cautious at this point.
I signed my husband and I up for a local 4th of July 5k this morning before I knew I was pregnant. We haven't trained, but I work out pretty regularly. I do bikram yoga and kettlebells most days of the week.
Today I definitely had to push myself during the run. We walked twice but otherwise kept a pretty steady pace. I wear a Fitbit and during the run my heart rate stayed around 175-185. We walked when it got high. At the very end it went to 190. After the race it took me a couple minutes to recover, for the first minute it was hard to take a deep breath, but my heart rate slowly went back down and now an hour later I feel fine.
In the past before I was pregnant and I ran, my heart rate would go to 165-180. I'm 29 so my max heart rate is 191 using the math of 220-29.
I got a little paranoid when we were done that I overdid if. We only ran for 34 minutes, so I'm hoping that for such a short period of time this early in my pregnancy I haven't done any damage. I know excercise is healthy and good while pregnant, I just don't want to overdo it and possibly cause any damage. I don't plan on pushing it that hard again during my pregnancy. I also know that your heart rate can be higher than normal early in pregnancy.
Does anyone have any advice in regard to this topic? Or past experience? I want to do everything I can to be safe and healthy for my body and my baby.
Thanks!
