Period and Growth Spurt

Just curious how others have dealt with this. I'm 6 weeks pp and seem to have gotten my period just in time for LO to have a growth spurt.

The slight dip in my supply combined with her increased want to feed has led to a very grumpy baby come late evening into the early hours of the night. My SO has given her an ounce of pumped milk in a bottle the past few nights and that seems to be enough to satiate her enough to finally get some sleep, so I've just been pumping while he feeds her even though I'm not really getting anything.

Just curious if eventually my body might adjust so this isn't a problem, or if maybe when she is out of her growth spurt it won't be an issue? I never had this issue with my first since I didn't get my first p.p. period until right before her first birthday when she drastically cut down her feeds.
