To induce or not induce? That is the question...

Went to my doctor's appointment this morning. I'm 37+2 dilated 1cm and 40% effaced. I'm due June 17th. I've have a pretty rough pregnancy and my doctor brought up that if I wanted to I can be induced on June 12th, unless she comes before or something medically pops up. She says my daughter is small, been small my entire pregnancy but I'm growing like I'm suppose to even though I've gained zero weight. I actually lost another 2lbs so that'll be a total weight loss of 16lbs since my starting weight. She's been ok with the weight loss the whole pregnancy and again says there's nothing wrong with my baby but wants to know if I'd like to be induced or wait for her to come naturally.

So ladies can y'all please drop some pros and cons to induction. doctor already told me it could make my labor longer but my mother brought up we'd at least know when labors going to start and be prepared when it comes to work for her and my SO and making arrangements with things but I'm not sure. I'm a FTM and already scared shitless because I don't have much longer. I am super miserable at the moment and wouldn't mind her coming early but would truly appreciate some advice. thank y'all 😊
