food?!!

Question

what are some easy quick and cheap things I can make for my 9 month old to eat? people always say oh just give him what you eat but i don't eat much during the day and what i do eat i know he's probably not ready for yet. he's got 8 teeth and is a very good chewer. he won't let me feed him anymore as he likes to feed himself now. any good specific suggestions?! he loves mashed potatoes and things like that but he can't just live off of that

Our daughter just eats whatever we're eating. Which I know you said isn't helpful, but that's what she eats. Nothing is off limits in our home. She loves chicken, salmon, pasta, rice, avocado, pancakes, French toast sticks, peanut butter sandwiches, toast, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, strawberries, bananas, avocado, steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet potato fries, banana bread, yogurt, turkey and cheese sandwiches, crackers, etc. If we have it in our home, chances are she eats it.

Mine loved food at that age but was short on teeth so we ended adding a lot of avocado she loved it plus full of healthy fat and super quick and easy

baby can absilutely eat what you're saying,  just watch sodium and sugar intake. you jyst need to cut it properly. it shoves like you didn't do BLW, but they'd be able to give you tips on how to properly cut food, which is the biggest issue

I often do homemade pizza for my little boy, he's 10 month and have been doin these since around 7 months. I use sandwich thins, tomato puree and grated cheese (not loads of cheese) stick it under grill until cheese has melted and done... Quick, easy and my son loves it. Another one is pasta, he loves pasta, you can do mayo pasta, pasta bakes etc. All quick and easy for meals through the day for when you aren't eating at the same time ☺️

Toast, avocado, bananas, noodles, tuna, veggies...honestly he can eat anything you would eat for the most part as long as it’s soft. My son is a year old and only has 6 teeth and eats everything we eat. So if your son has 8 teeth and is good with chewing I’d let him eat your meals if you are eating with him and I’d make him regular food you’d eat even for meals you’re not eating with him. Sometime leftovers are the best. My son doesn’t eat dinner with us because he goes to bed too early, so usually he ends up doing left overs from the previous dinner we ate.
