Difficult IUI

I got a positive surge yesterday and went today for my IUI. My one follicle was 21 and the other was 12.3. The nurse told me the smaller one was too far behind the other!!! Then because of previous leep surgeries I have scar tissue that the doctor broke up during my dye test but this is the 5 IUI since then and the nurse had a hard time getting the Cather in. She said they are going to have to dilate my cervix. Has anyone else had this problem or had this happen? Does it hurt when they dilate it? I just feel very crampy right now and I'm bleeding. The nurse was concerned because she couldn't get as far in as she wanted.
