Shamed for feeding my baby

So while in Walmart today I was feeding my son a bottle of pumped milk just so I didn’t have to mess around with breastfeeding while I’m trying to get in and out of the store. However, an old lady and her husband decided to stop me to criticize how lazy I am being giving my son what they thought was formula and how “real moms breastfeed”. So here is a PSA:

Are you breast feeding? Yes?

YOU’RE A BADASS

Are you exclusively pumping? Yes?

YOU’RE A BAD ASS

Are you formula feeding? Yes?

YOU’RE A BADASS

do you know what qualifies you as being a “real mom”? Having a kid that calls you mom. Period.

STOP THE MOM SHAMING that baby is sucking the life out of you whether you feed them from your breast, or with formula and you’re managing to still stay sane and keep you and A-WHOLE-NOTHER HUMAN BEING ALIVE.
