ended relationship:(

my boyfriend of three years broke up with me last Sunday. I don't know what to do. he said I didn't have to move out and I guess we agreed to just be friends but it's really hard to flip the switch. I love him so much and I don't want to move out because I guess I figure he'll come back to me, but what if he doesn't? I want to move on but I also have never been with anyone else before and I thought we were in it for the long run. any advice?
