sooooo so i’m 17 and i was in the ER today because i have ovarian cysts and it ruptured today so when they asked if i was sexually actively i obvi had to say yes and my mom was literally right there lmao it was so awkward. anyone know how to make it not so weird anymore?

Honestly, just talk to her about it. I mean she’s your mother and I’m sure she’s not an idiot. She knew it was going to happen sooner or later. It’s unfortunate she found out this way but it’s good that you told the truth. I’m sure if you just try to have a talk with her the awkward will pass. It may take awhile but it’ll pass.

You’re 17 i’m sure it wasn’t too much of a shock. I lost my virginity at 15 and my mom got over it really quickly actually. it’s a natural part of life it’ll be okay, if you wanna talk to her then talk to her but if you don’t feel comfortable then don’t, maybe wait for her to say something
