Long term Vs Short term

I have liked this boy for months now and Rn I rlly like him. But then this other boy came out of nowhere and hmu and he’s soo nice I have never met a 14 year old guy who’s so sweet and kind and not a pig like most teen boys. Now the new guy likes me and it’s obvious and others told me but my crush apparently knows that I like him because everyone knows. And idk if he likes me but people told me that he does. I’m to scared to tell my crush that I like him but I also don’t want to hurt the new guy because he is soooooo nice and caring. What do I do? I need help
