First car?

Hi ladies. So I recently passed my driving test and I’m thinking on what car I should buy for the first time. I’m thinking on something safe, I have in mind a Nissan Rogue(not from this year obviously for money reasons). The question it’s... is it overwhelming to pay a car every month? How much did you pay your first car. How old was your credit history?

Idk if it’s at all possible for you but I would suggest saving enough first to buy it all at once if you can! That’s what I did, bought my first car for $2k and didn’t have to worry about payments every month. Of course you’ve got registration and insurance and maintenance but it’s better to not pay off the car every month too. 
Also, get the cheapest (but still reliable and safe) car possible 😂 there will be time for fancier nicer cars when you’re older and have saved more!

don't get a red car, stick to a smaller car, make sure it has good gas mileage. its better to save  and get a more reliable car than spend a little and get a cheaper one. seriously can not stress the importance of gas mileage and reliability.

my first car is a 2009 honda civic, i got it off a car lot. down payment was $1500 ( in payments ) & monthly payment is $300 ( rounded up ) & insurance monthly is $118, it’s also only $30 to fill up the tank. it being my first car, i kind of got screwed over cause i’m paying $14,000 in the end, but honestly i love my baby 🖤
