So in 2016, my mother and my little family (husband and daughter) made the decision to move into a bigger place together, since we were living in a studio apartment and she was living in someone’s garage. Anyways we made this choice to help each other financially and emotionally since I’d just given birth to my baby and I thought she could help me learn the ropes of being a mom. I was wrong. We were splitting the rent and everything spiraled out of control. She became very abusive and used me however she pleased. Then she turned my family against me. So obviously we fell out and after so much arguing my husband and I decided we were moving elsewhere and she agreed she’d get a roommate. The first day of rent my husband, daughter, and I went out, and we came home to find the apartment MISSING all of her things. So we were forced to pay the whole sum of rent, and we were forced to live in those apartments a whole year. Which was horrible since she started dating the manager (who was married) of the apartments, so his wife was always bumping into us talking shit about my mom. (Rightfully so) and when she left, she had the gas contracts under her name so she went And cancelled it without warning. Costing us 200$ to get in back and a week without gas. Anyways, her fiasco and half rent for the whole year cost us around $5,500. Anyways we paid it with our savings. Fast forward to now, I come to find out my mom won a lawsuit since she fell during work and she received two checks for $12,500 for damages and etc. And I want to tell her she still owes us for her petty scheme but she does NOT talk to me at all. But I also come to find out she owes half the world money with no intentions of paying anyone. My brother, my dad, me and others too.🤦🏻‍♀️
