Scared about birth control. Please help me.

I’m starting birth control in the next few days (NuvaRing). I’ve read a lot of positive reviews but I’ve also read a lot of negative ones. I just started a new job that I really really love and I’m scared that I’ll have mood swings or really bad emotional stress due to birth control. I’m also really scared that I’ll lose my sex drive and vaginal moisture which I mean the whole reason I’m going on bc is to be able to have (responsible) sex with my boyfriend without worrying too much. Can someone help me? Even just some encouragement would be nice since I can’t really talk to anyone about this... also when I talked my gynecologist she didn’t mention anything about losing my sex drive as a side effect....
