I have a new gay friend at work who I’ve seen socially a bit. He has invited me to go to an EDM gig in August and my husband was a bit funny about it because he says I will hate the music and being surrounded by people on drugs. I don’t do drugs and I haven’t been to a rave since I was 19 (I’m now 30). My husband was invited too.

It’s totally out of my comfort zone and I think my husband being awkward is unnecessary. But I can’t decide whether to go. Any advice on raving without drugs? (My friend and his friends will do drugs I think. But people doing drugs around me doesn’t bother me.)
