TMI-Fingering myself for the first time?

So I tried fingering myself for the first time today, and it took me ONE. HOUR. to get it right!

And it didn’t bleed or hurt at all? I inserted more than half of my pinky, so maybe it wasn’t as thick. However there was this “bulb” that blocked me from entering and I had to insert my finger from a little lower. Is that my hymen? The remains of it? Shouldn’t it be more like a membrane?

I am both happy and confused. Please help me out 😂
