boy trouble - advice if you have any?(:

I’ve liked this guy for close to three months now and he has always treated me well. Recently he showed an interest in me and we’ve been talking for a couple days. However, two of my friends mentioned an interest in this same guy after I started liking him and one of them after we already started talking. On Saturday he legit saved my life and protected me at a beach party and went to the only Shipley’s on the island we were on (20 minutes away) the next morning because I said I wanted donuts the night before. We’ve been non stop talking and he’s genuinely the greatest guy I’ve talked to and is the first person I’ve been interested in since my breakup from a two year long relationship a while ago. He makes me very happy, happier than I was in my last relationship, which was completely one sided and emotionally detrimental. 

So my question is:

Knowing that my two close friends like him and that we are going to College soon, should I pursue him or should I just let it die? :(
