Anyone else experience this?

This weekend my SO took me to labor and delivery because I had almost unbearable pain in my ribcage and lower abdomen. They said it was just gas but kept us there for a while because baby wasn't moving a lot, around the time we were there she is never all that active, she is super active at times and then calms down other times but is really consistent about that. I'm definitely asking my ob about it but I wonder if it was gass because it happened again a day later. This time not as bad, I just worry that it's something really wrong because they didn't really look into it they just made sure i wasn't having contractions and that baby was moving. I've had gas pains before and this for sure did not feelkle gas pains.
