Don't ignore symptoms
I just wanted to share my story to make sure that all of you aren't afraid to get checked out if you think something may be wrong!
This is my second pregnancy and my first was all fine!
I had been really tired and out of breath for a couple of weeks and just thought "oh it's just pregnancy!" And I knew my iron levels were low so I thought that could have something to do with it too.
Well one night I was at work and even doing hardly anything I felt out of breath. I thought I'd just call my hospital and see what they said and they suggested to come in to be seen. My heart rate was also high at 120.
I thought they would think I was silly/overreacting and just send me home...
turns out I have a blood clot in my lungs which is life threatening to me and to baby. My pregnancy is now completely different with me on blood thinning injections twice a day, baby needing to be induced and it's all considered high risk.
So I just wanted to warn you all to get checked if you're ever unsure!
