Endo-continuous birth control

I’ve recently been diagnosed and surgically treated for Endometriosis. My doctor has started me on low dose birth control continuously with no period. I’m a little concerned because I have not been on the pill for almost 5 years and use to have the worst breakthrough bleeding. Any experience or advice is highly appreciated!!
