When did you have your first ultrasound?

My Dr won't see you for the first time and an ultrasound until 11-13 weeks and I'm scheduled at 11 weeks. I am meeting with the nurse before that at 6 weeks, but no doctor and no ultrasound until 11. Just curious how common that is, it seems a little late.

I’ll be having mine between 6 and 7 weeks but that’s due to a previous miscarriage, spotting and cramping, and also trying to be seen before we move across the country! 
Try to think of having to wait as a positive thing, cause it means nothing is wrong! :)

I went to a pregnancy clinic because I didn’t have insurance yet and got an ultrasound at 8w. My dr didn’t give me one til 17w.

I had a dating scan to work out how far along I was when I first found out. Thought I was roughly 8 weeks but was actually 5w4d.
History of PCOS so couldn't really go off my last period.

That’s pretty normal. With my first pregnancy I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks. This time I had one at 8 weeks but only because the ultrasound technician happened to be available at my first appointment.

I had my first one at 19 weeks and 4 days. My next one will be at 38 weeks for some reason

I think it depends on your doctor and insurance, I had my first ultrasound at 6w6d to check everything and then I didn't have another until 20w.

that seems pretty normal. I got my first ultrasound at just under 13 weeks and my first appointment was mostly just for paper work so I didn't see my doctor that day
