Allergic to pads?

I use ubykotex pads usually or just whatever i can get when needed. But I've noticed from the past couple of my periods that I get very sensitive and they are kind of harsh on my skin. It doesn't hurt my vulva, it's more like near my booty. I don't know if I'm allergic, irritation, or chafing because of the pad but it's so uncomfortable and hurts. Please let me know what you think is going on and recommend different types of pad to use instead, thank you :)
