Is this normal???

I grew up a military brat, but this is my first military relationship. Does this really get easier? We will be going through our first deployment this fall and I can't get it out of my head. Every time he puts on his uniform and kisses me goodbye at 5am I get so many feelings, worry, love, pride, longing.. 💕😭I miss him so much the minute he leaves even though I know he'll be back before bedtime 🤷‍♀️ does anyone else get this way?? If so, what have you found helps you?
