Birth control and UTI??

Yesterday (June 7) I got the nextplanon/implant in my arm and this morning (June 8) I woke up constantly having to pee and it hurting, I’m also spotting. Ik the spotting is normal in the first few months but is it possible to have a UTI bc of the implant? This is my first time having BC or symptoms of a UTI so I was just wondering if they are related? I haven’t had sex in the past couple days so I don’t think it’s bc of that.
