How long do you plan to swaddle baby?

I recently read a thread on a local parenting website where women were debating how long they should swaddle their babies.  Apparently there are some new recommendations that say you should only do it for a month.  It seems like this includes using halos, swaddlemes, etc.  I didn’t know this was controversial and hadn’t really given it any thought!  Curious what others plan to do or know about this.

My daughter refused to sleep unless she was swaddled until she was 6 months old. 
She had the love to dream swaddle, you can in zip their arms but it’s still tight in the body so they feel swaddled

All the swaddles I have specifically say not to swaddle once they can roll over

I swaddled my son until he stared rolling and then we stopped. So we swaddled him for 5 months.

Once they can roll over you shouldn’t swaddle anymore. It should be around about 4 months.. if memory serves me right

We just started with a halo sleep sack with arms tucked in.
When it was time to unswaddle around 3 months we just let out one am for a night then another ark the next night and now he just has it wrapped around his tummy.
I didn’t want to deal with a tough transition.

We stopped swaddling my son around 5/6 months and then he chose to sleep On his stomach

I have three kids. My oldest two were never into swaddling but my youngest who is 13 weeks old loves to be swaddled. I plan to let him stay swaddled then transition from it once he starts rolling. Has me nervous but guess we will figure it out.
