Fertility issues?

I'm 21 years old and have been ttc since December 2017. My periods have been coming like clockwork every month. In August 2017 I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst on my right ovary and currently it's about 10cm, I'm awaiting surgery but it could be years on the NHS. Does anybody know if this is stopping me conceiving?

It really shouldn’t! I’ve dealt with cysts for the past couple years, I actually had to take birth control for one I had that was pretty big and it shrunk it within a month, but my doctor always assured me that having a cyst or 2 won’t affect conceiving. It’s when you have PCOS that can affect it. Have you tried taking birth control pills to shrink it?

it depends what type of cysts and if it has any additional problems with it like effecting your hormones
