Never had a wedding

My husband and I have been married for a little over a year now but I feel so sad about that day. It was special because I married my best friend it while planning our wedding my father took sick and passed away💔 I was distraught and called the entire ceremony off. We ended up just going to the city hall. Well now I’m regretting not going through with it. I’ve always dreamt of being in a beautiful dress and walking down the aisle to the man of my dreams! I was thinking about renewing our vows sometime in the future on an anniversary of course and maybe throwya wedding then. But is that cheesy considering we are already married?
