Quad test?

Hi. I just had my quad test results back... Can anyone explain how they work and if it's just for downs syndrome or the other health issues as well? So confused... Thanks xx

The test also screens from Trisomy 13, a far more severe chromosomal abnormality than Down’s Syndrome. Only 5-10% of infants diagnosed live for an entire year; most die within the first few days or weeks after birth.

Down syndrome, trisomy, and neural tube defect. I’d ask your doctor to explain the results to you though.
