bestfriend stopped talking when i had my son

So I had a girl who i was best friends with. we met at work hung out we were so similar i mean like practically the same person i could tell her anything. well i left that job to get a new one because i wasn't making enough we still stayed friends but not as close. Then I found out I was pregnant she got even more distant but still came to the baby shower after i had my son contact almost completly stopped. Little back story she doesnt like kids never wanted any either I used to be that way to till my nephew was born and i decided to have one. She has met my son one time and I've seen her maybe two. well she moved across the country and didn't say bye. I have tried to reach out idk if she ever got my texts or not but hardly ever got a reply. either way is it even worth trying to save this friendship ??? there's alot more to the story but that's the short version. I'm just upset because i love my son but ever since i had him all my friends are gone.
